tips to manage your expanse to avoid money loss by Hamauon Khan

does these all carry worth? i mean is there anything new we do not know? then why to hire such people for consultancy? i mean does selling these technique make any sense?
1. Save at least $1,000:
The first step he recommends to take is saving at least $1,000 for
unplanned costs and events.
2. Keep An Emergency Fund:
Humayun Khan recommends keeping an emergency fund/savings
of at least 5-6 months to make for a job-loss or slump in your
business.
3. Invest At Least 10%:
Time for a retirement? It’s also the time to invest at least 10% of your
savings/funds into something that would give you good returns in
future and help you achieve your dreams.
4. Make A Plan For College Expenses:
If you are a student and want to avoid/get out of debt, do not let your
college expenses sneak on you. It goes without saying that the tuition
fees are always going to rise – unless there is a sudden change of
plans by your college administration, which is highly unlikely to come
about. The best thing to do here is staying ahead of the game by
having a fund specifically for college expenses.

5. Time To Pay Off Debt:
Make a list of all debts and put the smallest one on your top priority.
If two debts have similar payoffs but different interest rates, then put
the one with higher interest rate first. This approach will help you
knockout your debts one by one.

This is a UK forum, so the currency is a bit wrong.

Otherwise, you say that this isn't new, which is correct.

You still find many people who do not think of such things, and as the Nobel prize for economics went to the person who pioneered the Nudge Theory, things like this are never unwelcomed.

Anyway, considering this is public information, nobody is paying a consultant for this. If you hire a financial advisor, you'll get far more specific advice based on your circumstances.

Edit: Just what is this exactly? Your title is very questionable. You stated in a previous post your brother in law was called Hamauon Khan. Or wasn't because of a spelling error. Now this person is a consultant? What?

No need, that's what this website is for. There's well enough resources here, specific to the UK.

Check my post again, I addressed that.

The advice in your post is basically the same as any of the UK debt charities would give to people.
