Hello here are some tips for your halloween party.
1.Use charity shops. Pick up some old clothes and a hem and a seam later you have a costume or pick up an old sheet perfect for a ghost or toga costume. They also have great costume jewllery to finish the outfit off.
2.Use nature theres nothing better than a few scary looking branches and twigs around the house for decoration maybe hang some sweets in them. Nip to your nearest park and go with a Blair Witch Theme.
3.If your really stuck for a costume then dress all in white or black and say your dressed as a God.
4.use newspaper chain men like you did as a kid. Even better hold a best paper chain competition then use the chains to decorate.
5. Dont just use pumpkins be adventurous! Have a scary halloween carrot!

Also have a 'making a mummy' competition, get cheapo white toilet paper and get people in 2's and then ready steady go....wrap partner like a mummy, best one the winner - it always goes down well at my halloween parties, oh and also the apple bobbing and then the pass the apple to each other under the chin (again very cheap)

I have made some 'ghost' lanterns by cutting the top and bottom off a white plastic milk bottle, draw a scary face then put over the top of a tealight.0

6.Shop around for prizes to competitions. I managed to pick up lots of crafty bits from wilko today that only came to 2.99 for 4x packs felt tips 2x paint sets 5x colourng books

7.Make your own party invitiations on the computer. You can make them look great and you may only be saving pennies but every little helps.
8.Bake yourself. Make up a super huge pizza and then cut it up small. YOu can make a pizza big enough to feed 10 kids for 1 pound.
9.Use old newpapers to make paper chains for decorating and mix up your own glue to glue them. Halloween is one of the only times of year when you can get away with using newspaper to decorate so i make the most of it!
10.Use old yogurt and food containers to store your buffet food like dips and things. Once you've taken the labels off and maybe rounded a few corners, they're great for keeping dips and things in and then they can just be chucked out after rather than leaving you with a pile of washing up!1
