We would like to move home next year however we have defaults less than 3 years old on file.
We recently changed mortgage product with Santander which meant we could take advantge of a 1.69 deal for 2 years.
The defaults were cleared in full and final settlements.
Also our LTV is only 32% but am curious how much importance lenders place on this fact given that the defaults are quite recent.
Thanks as usual

You'll find it's not an exact science however a LTV of 32% would most certainly help your case with most lenders and this is definitely an example of where a good broker could save you money.
I'm assuming the deal you've recently taken out with Santander doesn't have an early repayment charge?I am a Mortgage BrokerYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Broker, so you need to take my word for it.
