Awright everyone,
Looking for some advice on Laptops. My technophobic parents have asked me to find them a good laptop and am not really sure of the good things to look for in processors. I feel confident in Hard Drives, RAM and the likes of.
Just wondering in laptops are certain processors to get and certain ones to avoid.
Cheers ???

Shod,
Have you had a look through the Great "Cheapest Decent Laptop" hunt thread which is a sticky on this board? (Click on dark blue writing for a link to the thread.)Torgwen.......... ...........0 -
Assuming you are not just going to be typing letters on the laptop, then don't buy a slow or cheap processor as you will regret is later on. You should spend as much money as you can afford on a processor (but not so much that you neglect the other aspects of the machine).
