When Does A CCJ show up in On Your Credit Status?

Alright guys

We have received a notice of enforcement. Date of CCJ 23/05, judgement date 22/09 but we have looked at ur credit reports and nothing appears to be showing up..

How long does it take before it actually starts appearing on our credit report? Because that will effect us paying in full or trying to set up a monthly plan..

If you pay in full within 30 days of Judgement, it wont appear on your credit files, or if it does appear, it'll be taken off.

If the Judgement was the 22nd of September, you have 13 days to pay.

The credit reports update monthly based on the data feeds they get. Some are slower than others, and remember to check all 3 CRAs.

Edit: From a previous post to you, are you not looking at contesting this CCJ?

It can take 6 weeks depending on when the info is registered versus when the file is updated. If you clear it in under 30 days it should be removed but ensure you get that in writing.

Well the Judgement date was 22/09, so if we pay in full within 30 days that should be find? What if it its later than the 13 days you mentioned, but still within the 30 days period?

Also if we have one CCJ on our records (just this one) how will it effect us in the future?

It'll destroy your credit history, so loans, credit cards and mortgages will be a no-go for the foreseeable future.

Also, I meant 13 days from today as it's the 9th and you'll have until October 22nd to pay in full to prevent this being on your credit files for 6 years.

As stated in your previous thread on this matter, if you're not liable for the debt and it is in error, you must apply for a set aside.
