Historic BR amount and reasons

Hi all,
I’m hoping you can advise? I went BR a long time ago (10 years or so) and am now in the position (hooray!) to start applying for a mortgage. It asks for amount of bankruptcy and the reason. I’n not sure what to put on the reason really and have absolutely no idea of the amount! I know there’s nowhere I can find this (don’t have the paperwork or anything now) but wondered if I should just give a best guess? I don’t want to put something that they can then see is incorrect (but is the amount visible to the lender/solicitor anyway, especially at this stage?) I have no idea what to do and it’s holding up my application.
I’d appreciate any advice.
Thank you!

Speak to the lender/broker you're applying with for some advice.
Basically, if the figure is available somewhere to them, it'll be available to you via some means, if not, a best guess is the best they'll get too.
