Virgin Active - Retention Deals?

Hi,
I've been a member of my local Virgin Active gym for around six years now.
I initially joined under a very favourable corporate scheme - 1/3 of the fees paid by my firm - but having left that years ago, my charges have steadily crept-up with no increase in service.
Does anyone know / had experience in whether there are any discounts to be made in threatening to leave? I'm keen to stay with them instead of shopping around as they have branches directly by my home and office - but they don't need to know that
Cheers
Details: on a Group 2 membership and pay roughly £90+ per month. In a rolling month-by-month notice period as I'm out of my first year

I used to be a member of Virgin Active, they suddenly raised their prices more than the normal £5 a year, and I had to leave. I did hold out for any retention deals but there were none. Once I'd left I had an email or two asking if I wanted one month free if I signed back up, but it was at a much higher monthly price than I had been on previously and still way above what I could afford so I didn't take up the offer.
Be aware that with some gyms- and I don't know if it's the case with VA or not, that every year, the new members can end up paying a higher price than the current members and current members annually stay on a better deal than if they were to re-sign up. It means that if you do leave and return, the new fee can be higher than the fee you had previously been paying, I might or might not be enough to omit the free month you are given (assuming you are offered a free month on signing up) and is something to take into consideration when you consider something like £5 a month being £60 worked out over the year. Add that to a registration fee and it can mean you are paying more.0
