Additional trousers for a three-piece suit?

Maybe I've missed this bit, but are you a man or woman?
I wear suits to work and a 3 piece to me means a jacket, trousers and skirt. If a matching dress is available I'll buy that too. Means I can mix and match tops, blouses and cardigans with the bases. The jacket gets the least wear so it's always worth getting extra separates to match. Additions like scarves, jewellery, on trend shoes etc all add value and wearability.
If you are a man I'd look at getting separates that go with the jacket as well as extra trousers. I appreciate that the full suit is often essential for certain meetings etc but it doesn't stay on long enough to get much wear. Various shirts, ties, etc can mix it up.
In this day and age I find more often that mixed stylish separates and a sense of individuality isn't a negative in business. If anything it lets others know you have a sense of style and are noticed for that.
For a 5 day full time I'd have 3 core suits to chop and change with separates etc and keep wear and tear to a minimum. Costly outlay but they'll last longer.
If you are not a woman you have my sympathy, dresses and skirts really do mix it up as does footwear, accessories. Then again there's some great shirt, ties out there.
All the best for the new position.0 -

Consider a blazer and then the trousers don't have to match, Next have some nice ones.0
