We need to replace our fridge freezer and have found the one we want. I have been looking to see if I can get it any cheaper than the £899.00 from Currys. I have found it for £717.00 including delivery from 24 Electric.com. I have never heard of this company and wondered if anyone had heard of them or had had any dealings with them and whether they were ok.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Sorry .... haven't used them. They figure on PriceRunner - but have no user rating. Doesn't mean to say they're untrustworthy in any way - but does suggest they're relatively new / little used?
Bit surprised they're cheapest for your fridge /freezer - as of the 10 or so items they list on PriceRunner - they're far from the best on prices.
They're just over mid-way down the list on this item :-

The price they quote compared to Currys is about £200.00 cheaper. That's why I was questioning it.Did owe £9,951.96

Not surprised they beat Currys - but the evidence on PriceRunner suggests they won't beat some of the better established Internet providers.
Do a search on that make / model on PriceRunner / Kelkoo etc - and you may do better than £200 and with someone with a more obvious track record? If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0 -
Hi Mikeyorks
I spent time on the internet going through kelkoo and pricerunner and any other website I could find the model on and they were the ones who came up the cheapest every time. Currys are quoting £899 plus delivery and 24 Electric.com are quoting £717 including delivery. Everyone else seems to be between about £740.00 and £899.00.Did owe £9,951.96

In which case they're probably selling off some over-stock.
I generally tend to look at the track record of companies etc before I buy. But it does sound as though this may be worth taking a chance? BUT - only if you buy it on a Credit Card in order to boost your protection in the (hopefully unlikely) event of anything going wrong?
Later - looked at their site and they certainly cover all the key makes. If you've got (or want to set up) a Quidco account - go via them and you'll get a further 3% back. They seem to have been associated with Quidco a littlewhile (not flagged as newcomers) so probably not as new as I first thought. If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0 -
Thanks for that Mikeyorks. I usually use another cashback site but do have a Quidco account. The reason I don't usually tend to use Quidco as last year when I bought my home insurance I went through Quidco and must have done something wrong as I didn't get the cashback. I guess if I do something wrong again this time I won't have anything to lose as I'm still getting a good price anyway.Did owe £9,951.96

For anyone who is interested, we ended up buying our fridge freezer through 24 Electric.com. When we came to ordering it online it was about £50.00 cheaper again. They phoned us on the Monday (about a week after ordering) and told us they would be delivering on the Friday. Don't think I could find a fault with them.Did owe £9,951.96
