I have asked MSE Andrea for permission to post this, so here goes

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1bvWRryUWCuYaJDapYV8Q5PXNAwnFLTSeMTUcQF6cSnI/edit?usp=sharing

It can be edited by anyone, so please, if you use it live online, please 0 all of the figures before leaving it in case it autosaves.

Otherwise, if you copy the spreadsheet to Excel or another spreadsheet editor in full, it should keep the formatting. It can work with data as you go, so the totalizers will update so it will automatically let you know total income, outgoings, debt payments and assets and liabilities.

Well done for putting this together. I think it is a good idea to review your finances even once debt free. One limitation I find is that it only looks at monthly spends and incomes. Quite often our finances are weekly even if we get paid monthly. Though I appreciate it may be more complex to use.
Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.

While the Stoozing site seems to be back up, the same limitations apply there too.

However, for weekly payments, multiply by 52, then divide by 4 and you'll put it to a monthly equivalent.

When budgeting, most direct debits are monthly, same with rent and mortgage payments, so it's best to budget around the outgoings, rather than the incomings where possible.
