2 minute phone call...half of which was selecting an option.
Told the customer service agent I was not happy my delivery was going to be 1.5 hours late, said I had to cancel an appointment due to having to wait in.
Asked for a refund...she said yes...Hey presto £5.50 refunded to bank and an email received in less than 2 minutes to confirm.0 -
I just rang to complain that my delivery was late again for the 3rd time in the past few months - they were very helpful and phoned the driver for me but the call would have ended there had I not asked for my delivery to be refunded which they did.
Come on Tesco get your act together you already have 2 hour delivery slots. Ask for your delivery to be refunded next time your order is late maybe if we start protesting instead of just accepting we can get the service we pay for.:j0 -
Would you believe that about four months ago my order was actually half an hour early.0

Shop with Waitrose. Not only do they have free delivery, they also phone when they are going to be late (very rarely, I might add) and, when our order has been late, arrive on the doorstep with a big smile and a bottle of wine.0

We had a bottle of wine when our order was late at Xmas with Waitrose. A very nice suprise. Must make the divers have a more happy working life as well being able to come bearing a gift as an apology.I want to be credit card and loan free by Christmas 20100

We had a missed delivery - supposed to be delivered between 12 and 2 but they couldn't manage. We arranged to be in again between 4 and 6 and it still never turned up. For some reason they took it back to the store. When we found out where the order was, customer service couldn't tell us why it wasn't delivered but gave us a £10 discount code for our bother. The following day they failed again and yet again we phoned CS and got another £10 discount voucher. The order finally turned up an hour late. But the best bit is that when checking our bank the following week, it turned out our whole £80 for the order had also been refunded:D0
