Multiple AIP/MIP- Damage credit profile

I'm sure this is repeated question on this forum but was wondering if anyone could help.
I've completed three mortgage in principles
- Two with Halifax (Soft Search)
- one with Natwest (Soft Search)
My question is , will this damage my credit profile? as I've done three and wanted to check out HSBC/ATOM bank to see what they would offer me?
Also can anyone answer why Natwest offered me a lot more than halifax, Would it be because Natwest has been my main bank since the start of time?
Thanks!

Why are you doing AIPs to see what they will lend you?

No they won't damage your credit file, nothing to worry about there.
Every lender will have their own nuances and algorithms to determine how much they will lend to someone, any difference is highly unlikely to be down to loyalty just because you bank with them.0 -

I suspect this will end in tears.
The system is not designed for this approach to applying for a mortgage.
If you insist on finding your own lending option - choose one and stick with it.I am a Mortgage Broker
