Incorrect information on mortgage offer

Just received my mortgage offer :j

However there is something in the "special conditions" section which is incorrect...

It states that the lease is 85 years and the ground rent is £0 annual which is incorrect (lease is longer and ground rent is around £1000 a year). I don't know where they got that from because it's not what I told the broker...

I was going to give the broker a call tomorrow to get it sorted but was just wondering if this is likely going to be a pain to change now the offer has been issued? And will the ground rent/lease length make a difference to the offer?

Nationwide application?

For some reason, whatever we put on the application, when the surveyor goes out, the report comes back with 85 years. Presumably, the surveyors are instructed to use the minimum term Nationwide will accept.

This will be resolved by your solicitor later in the process when someone actually has the lease in hand. Leave it until then.

Ask broker for a copy of the application summary and you'll be able to see what was actually input.
