I work it out at 4.6 weeks which would be up to august 31st as part months don't count towards holiday pay
I assume you worked a five day week.....how many weeks does your contract say
  • No doesn't include bank holidays

Not according to the laws that cover holiday.
    (working time regulations)
  • Your holiday entitlement is proportionate to the time you've worked. You acquire holiday at 0.66 hours / day worked (172.5 / 260 which is the number of working days between 1/1/17 and 31/12/17) - excluding all bank holidays. If you worked all year you would have earned 4.6 weeks, but you left in September.

I don't think holiday entitlement can be calculated only on complete month's. So, you worked 185 days between 1/1/17 and 15/9/17 giving you 122.7 hours entitlement. If you have not taken all of this the company should pay the value of the remaining holiday, and if you have taken more than the 122.7 hours before you left, they will be entitled to deduct that from your final month's salary.

I ignored bank holidays altogether as different companies do it different ways.
    Debt 1/1/17 - Credit Cards £17,280.23; overdrafts £3,777.24
    Debt 5/1/18 - Credit Cards £3,188; overdrafts £0

Assuming the holiday year is really 1st Jan-31st dec and you worked to 15Sept

    37 weeks out of 52 = 3.985 weeks 149 hours.

need the holiday allowance in weeks/days with BH.

if you think it is wrong show your working.

They aren't allowed to use only full months for statutory amount of holiday but they can do what they like with anything over that which is why many places do say only full months count.
