Anyone ever used this company? I'm applying for a job and it's asking for me to upload a picture of my driving license/Passport that i find dodgy considering you are told never do it so

I doubt their motivation is dodgy, just that it's easier for both parties than you having to take them in, they photocopy them etc. If you don't want to upload them, give them a call and make an appt to go in.

Its classed as a secure website going by my web bar so i guess its fine

Manpower are the major recruitment agency for JLR and are a massive global company.

We all had to show photo ID (either drivers licence or passport) before being interviewed.

Yep same agency who were forwarding my CV in 2013 for a tele-sales job expected the same. (There was also a clause on the job application about going through other agencies/exclusivity for same job as well from what I recall)

One of the major national supermarkets nowadays also expects passport/Id upload on application alone when simply applying for a job so it's not unheard of.

Fines are massive for not doing ID checks.

Bespoke were allied in same office with blueglobal and national travel, probably same company with different names and they all behaved negatively.
I know that Argos uses Bespoke, and I think it reflects badly upon Argos to use such a negative recruitment agency.
Anyway just wanted to say beware of Bespoke, Blueglobal and National Travel. Try to avoid such negative companies. There arè lots of better recruitment agencies.

I'd have an awful lot more respect for your opinion if either :-

(a) you hadnt created an account just to slag off Bespoke (and thus protect your own account) OR
(b) you had otherwise been contributing to the forums rather than just coming on here to slag off an organisation based on your own particular subjective experience.

On the face of it, you took on a temporary job role, and made life changing decisions based on a TEMP role. Circumstances changed with Bespoke and unfortunately Bespoke reacted accordingly.
