This is correct but they will not offer it as an option when you phone them. You have to tell them that you want to be paid weekly.0 -

The pension credits are reduced due to her carers allowance, which is why his payment would only be £212 per week (this is less than the couples rate of £243.25). However a carers premium is added onto the claim as well.
It looks like they could have been getting more money if the claim had been processed correctly (as joint). They should get reassessed asap and should be able to get the amended claim backdated by 3 months.0
