Oh blimey, I may never eat again  .

My dad was always dubious about Meals on Wheels - he used to say "how do you know they have washed their hands?". We always replied "how do you know the bods working at Birds Eye have washed theirs?"

I suppose life is full of hazards - we just have to take our chance.

I have well-boiled homemade soup for tea, but I can't vouch for the shop bought bread :D .
    :D I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe :D

Agreed, but if we can't cook without giving people food poisoning, I'd rather they didn't bother.

I'm not aware of any TV chefs giving anyone food poisoning. My point is you KNOW to wash your hands, so why do you need to see Jamie et al do it? You wont stop washing your hands just beause Jamie doesn't, will you? He sells himself as a chef, not a hygiene teacher.

LMAO... you REALLY don't want to come to my house for tea! MSL (nails currently 1 1/4 inches long and painted pink and silver and glittery with black swirlies on!! and 9 rings)

But I bet you don't risk those beautiful nails mixing up pastry, etc. Pigpen :rotfl: And imagine beautiful rings all clogged up with pastry  I know I may regret asking, but what does LMAO stand for?

    Yup :)

I probably don't wash my hands enough when preparing food for me... but when it's for someone else I'm much stricter.
