Hi Guys, I am a long time lurker and very occasional poster however I have two young kiddies and with a birthday and Christmas on the horizon I have been looking to stock pile some gifts without breaking the bank.
My youngest is very into Lego and loves a lot of different sets (Ninjago, Star Wars and avengers / super heroes) but they are so damn expensive. I was recently shown some Lego compatible sets on a website (http://www.toyandgiftideas.com). I bought my boy two sets the Joker's car and the penguins Rolls Royce as the price was very agreeable and the reviews good.
Well they have turned up this morning nine days after ordering and I have to say my wife and I are chuffed they are identical to Lego blocks and great sets, I cannot wait to give them to by son, I know Lego is fairly expensive for most parents but this is a real alternative if you are less worried about the brand logo, based on these I will be buying a few other sets for Christmas
.
Hope this helps someone else.
