Are we first time buyers?

Hello! I've tried searching myself but can't seem to find a straight answer! I used to own a property which I sold, and me and my OH live together in a private rental house. My OH has never owned a property. We want to get a first time buyer ISA before the cut off date but depending on which website we look at,
1 - We're both classed as first time buyers because neither of us have a mortgage right now
2 - Neither of us are FTB because my OH will be getting a joint mortgage with me
3 - My OH is a FTB but I'm not
Can anyone shed any light please? Thank you!

As far as the mortgage goes, you'll be classed as FTBs by some lenders, not by others.I am a mortgage broker. You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. This signature is here as I follow MSE's Mortgage Adviser Code of Conduct. Hi Kingstreet - thanks for replying. Do you think its worth us both applying for a FTB ISA anyway?0

FTB products vary, some include those who currently have no property, some are strict with the word 'firts time' You're not buying for the first time, are you.
The ISA rules are clear. Your partner can have one. You cannot.0 -
