Still waiting...?

Hi folks.
I applied for a Co-operative loan on Sunday online. They advertise a call back within an hour during working hours, or later at weekend. It's now Tuesday night and I've heard nothing.
Should I assume I have been rejected and they have bunged a note in the post? Or is there still a chance I have been accepted and they are just too busy to call me? It's annoying either way!

Any guesses welcome..

Difficult to know. You should certainly call them to confirm they received your online application.

You should also check your 'junk mail' folder in case your over enthusiastic e-mail system blocked their reply.

If you are rejected then post back with a few more details about your situation and I'm sure someone will be able to asist.

Still no contact after three days. Too scared to call in case they laugh in my face... What a wuss I am. Still holding out hope that I've been accepted and it's in the post!

Why would they laugh in your face? I think you should call them - If it has been rejected ask if you can appeal - you are never going to see these people or even speak to them again - who cares what they think? These people have to reject people everyday - I say bite the bullet and call them.

Got a letter today - rejected because of credit score. Gah.
