hubby salary is 19k plus regular overtime
mine is 9k
plus wtc and ctc plus carers allowanc and child benefit if thats taken in to consideration.
they did a affordability caluator, and said we could have a mortgage for 136,500
have a small loan at the moment that ends next april, with replayments of £156 per month, i think our monthly take home is about £2,000 between us.

The benefits you list will be taken into account by some lenders, so that will help with the monthly affordability.

The fact the loan has only 6 months left to run will again mean a lot of lenders will "ignore" this in the background.

Have N&P done a credit check and agreed the mortgage, or have they only given you a mortgage amount they could look to agree for you?

There are some slightly cheaper deals out there, but it will depend on the lenders as to whether they will be happy with the full scenario
