Not so much the solicitors Z - they will, remember, have been working to instructions in the majority cases at least. Those who gave those instructions, however...

It is for the solicitors to advise their clients in all aspects of the law including unethical behaviour. I'd warrant that suppressing safety warnings through threatening court action (and the cost thereof) would be considered by most to be unethical. The solicitors *should* at that point refuse to act for the client in that matter if they persist - again because of ethics concerns.

The solicitors are not going to be sharing in the manslaughter charges because of their position, despite anyone being able to point to cause and effect for safety concerns remaining private/hidden (through litigation threats).
Point of interest on your aircraft analogy too - the RAF suffered a higher proportionate loss of Spitfires than Hurricanes - in spite of the fact that the Hurri's are older tech in terms of airframe built. That was exactly the thing that saved them in many cases though - a wooden framework with fabric stretched over is less prone to fatal damage than an aluminimum skin which tends to tear away when damaged.

It would have been interesting to see how the modern "rip stop" technology would have helped that even more.

    It's snaaaann... :rotfl:

I'll wait until the roads have died down before venturing out. The AA traffic report is already an angry red, and it's only early.

In financial news: Don't run two houses kids - it's very expensive...

Fortunately, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Needs must unfortunately. If I'd tried the "big bang" move, I'd be seriously unwell. Even spreading it out, it has been literally painful at times (like now... :( )

But it's not a cheap way of doing things. But this too, shall come to an end... :j:beer::T

And it would seem the A68 has been closed because of a stuck wagon. Which person in their right mind would go on that part of the A68 in a wagon in the snow?

The tree lined roads are all so lovely until the wheels start to slip...

I am - thanks for asking. I hope you are too.

A sniff of the white stuff and common sense flies out the window. I bet I get tail-gated when I go out, as being up someone's arse when there's no traction makes some people feel "safe"...

Tiny flurries down here. Wasn't great being out on a building site though - bloomin freezing. Working from home tomorrow so that should be better and I've bought a Sainsbury's sweater that goes down to my knees!!! :rotfl:
