i have just had a call from fusion studios manchester saying i had "won" a photoshoot with hairstyled, make-up done manicure, bucks fizz reception etc for two people from the pick me up website. he is going to call me back on thursday regarding a date for me to go is this a con where they then charge you for photos anyone else had this phone call

I had the same call a couple of weeks ago, they ask you to pay £50 deposit per person which they tell you you will get back sent in a cheque if you attend, I told them I wasnt happy doing this as I did ask when they first phoned if there is anything to pay, as I know there are a few hard sell scams about, and was told no, the second time I spoke to them is when they told me about the deposit.

I declined, I feel a win is a win and you shouldnt have to pay anything

I think it could be right, as long as they dont want any money beforehand its probably genuine, there are quite a few comps posted on here from the pick me up website, though from doing a search I cant find it?
