  • Travelling for this type of reason is very hard and that's probably why you are apprehensive about your trip.

I don't know about you, but I keep looking around and wondering where I got to be older so these things do happen to us. I'm sure I'm making no sense but when younger, I felt I had so much time. And do you remember hearing your parents saying time goes quicker as you get older - who knew, they were absolutely right!

I will be thinking positive thoughts for you on your journey. I can roughly picture your route so wave to Chard if you go through it. My place of birth and where I left at 18, racing away. And where I would love to live now.

Take care, virtual hugs for all three of you
    Pauline

Thanks Pauline, Nicnak and beanie. I'll look out for Chard and wave at it Pauline :).

I know what you mean Pauline. I'm 53 and don't know where the time went. I think that's why I'm so focused, because I feel like I don't have much time left to do all the things I'd like to do. We wasted so many years making debt payments instead of having holidays and building up memories.

Now we're debt free I don't want to waste any more time. I feel really motivated to save enough money to give us a buffer and a little left over to enjoy life :).

DH has to do a bit of work before we go, rolls eyes, so we may not leave as early as I hoped :o
