I think The Fitness Chef on FB is good for calling out BS and amusing too.

Thank you I'll have a look.

Congrats on the progress with your assignment :T

It's really not good to not have some form of heating when the temperature drops, i hate to think of you sitting in the cold

Thanks OBL :). We get WTC but only about £70 a month because they don't look at outgoings and they only take account of DH and I because the DC are all over 18. So it's just not enough to make a difference.

The trouble is DH has business expenses (like software subscriptions) that go out regardless of whether he's making money and the household bills just seem to go up and up :(.

We have had the heating on for most of November though.

Well I've had a busy day! It's been heavy rain most of the day and two lunchtime staff were off . Also it was wet playtime which requires more staff to supervise the children than when they can play out in the playground . So it's been really hectic! I can only describe it as barely controlled chaos! We coped anyway which is the main thing.

I got very wet walking home and had to dodge deep puddles where drains were blocked and avoid getting splashed as cars whizzed by. No one seems to slow down despite the heavy rain and slippery roads . My shoes, trousers, coat and gloves are drying on the radiator now!

This afternoon I have absolutely nothing scheduled because I'm really tired. I feel quite headachey and my legs feel weak :(. I'm going to need all of my energy to get through tomorrow too.

I have a really busy day tomorrow. I'm doing my full day of cover, my lunchtime job, I'm on playground duty at morning break and the headteacher has asked me if I'll run a stall at the school fair after school :eek::eek:. So I think I'll collapse and die of exhaustion when I get home. At least I'll get paid for everything apart from morning break and the school fair.

Your weather sounds like ours was last Thursday, it was torrential rain all day :( Been dry and sunny all week then today was dry but very gloomy :(

You're making great progress with the assignment :)

Hopefully you'll get a good night's rest tonight and feel better tomorrow ready for your busy day xx

  • Hope tomorrow goes well after, fingers crossed, a good night's sleep. Getting paid for it all will definitely help.

OH used to pay me for some basic accountancy and word processing work which I utterly loathed, but I did love the money !!!
