MONEY MORAL DILEMMA:Is it time for Rhys to leave Sienna?

Sad though it is, there is a limit to just how much you can freeload from a friend - especially when it is merely on the basis that you haven't yet secured the job you want to do.

Rhys should take a job - ANY job - and offer to pay his way. If he has simply outstayed his welcome then he will have to move out. If it is simply the financial burden that is stressing Sienna out, then he will be in a better position to negotiate a 'find it or quit it' date with her.

Either way, there is absolutely no excuse for him not to make any financial contribution towards his keep etc at all.

We are not told the level of his studying - universtities usually help a great deal with job hunting.
Where was he living before he moved in with Sienna? It may be less convenient geographically for his job hunt but just where does he intend to live if he does secure the job he is after? Accommodaton in London is far from cheap and he will need a hefty deposit.

Sorry Rhys but the whole business of dossing 'temporarily' with your friend was never well thought out. Try the YMCA.

My partner is currently in a similar situation, he had a friend ask to stay for 3 weeks who is still there 2 months later (without paying & he has ruined the carpets & other things during his stay :mad: ). I also had a seemingly good friend do a similar thing years ago. Ultimately this kind of thing destroys friendships; I no longer have contact with my former friend & ended up resenting her, & my partner is getting to the point where he wants to kill his friend!! NEVER overstay your welcome.

Rhys should stop being so damn lazy, and get a job, any job - get some pride !!!!!!!
