Struggling with monthly income &savings. Want to start a work at home side hustle ?

Options
My main job isn't bringing in too much money left over after bills... I pay £517.00 for all of my bills for 2 of us. My wage never really goes above £1,000 too much since I get ill often or because well that's just what my wages are like.

I have £400 spare but I wanted to put
£200 away for my help 2 buy isa,£100 for emergency and the rest well....I did want to start saving for my wedding/future children (he's proposed ,we're waiting for the ring and I wanna get saving early so we can have the wedding of our dreams in a few years time / we want kids) but I feel that I don't have enough. Then theres retirement i need to start saving for alongside what work puts in for me.

On top of this, I did want some money for myself and to use for driving lessons.

I wanted to start a side hustle but I'm not too good at anything. I can't draw, don't know about managing social network pages, I'm not an artist,I have Photoshop but dont know how to work it and it's a £50 fee to cancel it.

Didn't want a part time job at the weekend which involves leaving home since it's the only time o really get to spend with my boyfriend or family as I work from 8-5 / 9-6 and when I get home I generally tidy or there's something I'm doing.

I've signed up to loads of survey sites but I am always declined. Only have cheap clothes to sell on eBay and not much else.

I'm just looking for work at home ideas really.

Your question is one that is asked on a weekly basis on here and there are no magic answers unfortunately.

All you can do is have a read of the various threads on this board and see if anything takes your fancy and then perhaps ask questions on the pertinent thread.

If illness is an issue for you then it might be even more difficult for you as even some ideas might not work, for example if you signed up to sell Avon or something you would still need to commit to drop books off then collect orders and then deliver- and if you miss the rounds too often you won't get the regulars.

  • If you're paying for Photoshop monthly it might cost less in the long run to cancel it and pay the fee. Why did you get it if you don't know how to use it? Did you try the free trial first?

How are you at ironing? You can iron when your boyfriend is around.
  • Don't know how to iron ....
I would love to be a virtual assistant but I'm not technical .... I know how to create Facebook pages and such...

  • If you go on sites like upwork or peopleperhour you can see if there are any jobs that you may be good at. They are all virtual and there are a number of jobs from people all over the world. Maybe that could help?

You say you do a lot of photography, how about setting your photos on iStockPhoto or Shutterstock?
