Just after a bit of advice really regarding Twitter competitions and to get feedback on other peoples experiences. I have been comping for many years now and have entered over 10,000 Twitter competitions and never won one. I have won many competitions on Facebook though. Do you think this is just bad luck or could there be something wrong in my settings so my actions are not noticed by the people running the competitions? Or maybe there are a lot of fake Twitter competitions with no prize? Thank you

So many people enter twitter competitions that there is only a slim chance of winning. Some people reckon you stand more chance if you enter in the final minutes.

Also check your settings in twitter are not set to private.

There was a thread recently about something called shadowbanning. It is possible that if you enter loads, you are shadowbanned. Have a read of the thread.

Twitter competitions get a lot of entries, most likely due to their ease of entry. So it takes no brain cells just to click a couple of buttons and thats why they get so many entries due to it being so simple. You need to take the enter and forget route with all competitions.

Its probably worth doing the lower entry comps on twitter, which means a better chance and make sure your profile isn't just a constant stream of competition tweets, it can put some promoters off from choosing you.
