Comission for Lettings Negotiators

Hi,
I'm sorry if this has been written somewhere already. I have tried searching on google how much typical lettings negotiator makes as I believe my current position is well underpaid.
I work in London (zone 5) with a basic salary of £17k. My position is admin/negotiator and I deal with lettings mostly by myself. For over a year my manager did not even put a comission structure etc. and long story short I had entered the property industry as someone who didn't have any expererience so I took the position and the terms.
This week my manager got me exited as she said she will put me on a comission structure but when seeing this I thought it was a joke. The company offers me 1.5% of the profit that the estate agency gets. I would understand this in sales as this is more normal but for lettings I find this extremely demotivating. This would mean for example that from profit that company makes of £480 I get £7.20. We do not let that many properties so I feel this comission can only get me extra £100 if I drown myself in work as we get small properties (a big property for us is considered anything over £1200/monthly rent).
I don't mean to sound rude or unappreciative but I have worked so hard for this company and I was already wanting to have a chat with the manager in regards to the salary as I know this company cannot actually do day to day work without my support. I have worked for about 1.5 years now in the position and I am in charge fully of lettings procedures, deposits, maintenance, invoices, inventory organisation, renewals etc.
I wanted to know more about what sort of salaries do other lettings negotiators have? Is the comission that has been given normal?
