Hi - can anyone please tell me - if i already have a help to buy mortgage - am i allowed to take out a second buy to let mortgage on a second property? I have inherited some money and would like to buy a second property to rent out.

You have to repay the HTB Equity Loan before you can purchase a second/BTL property.I am a mortgage broker.
