Hi All,

Can anyone recommend a good shoe cobbler around Belfast? I'm looking for someone who can also give an honest opinion on whether the repair of the shoe would be worthwhile?

Thanks in advance

  • The Heel Bar on Woodstock Road. They have done many repairs for me.
  • there is a great man just off botanic avenue. he's a traditional cobbler & dies a great job. we have used him for years. I don't know the name of the street but its the street before university street going up botanic avenue towards queens university. he is open 8-6 every day I think
  • Yup agree with botanic ave recommendation, it's just at the corner of India street and botanic. He's definitely your guy. His dad was also a cobbler and he's been in the trade 40 years himself, def knows what he's talking about...opens every weekday for sure and not on Sundays. Maybe Saturday mornings??

"Botanic Boot and Shoe Repairs". 2B India Street to be precise. I've not used him, but seen good reviews.

I second the Heel Bar, very quiet, unassuming bloke but knows his stuff and will keep you right. Not hard to pay either. Literally used him dozens of times as my wife has some great quality boots that are 20+ years old and we get them resoled and reheeled about every 18 months
