Meridian Mortgages and Keepmoat Homes?

Anyone had any experience with these companies?
I've found my dream home but after some research there's a lot of negative reviews.

Any advice?

I bought my first property from keepmoat, and used meridian mortgages as the broker. I was a totally naive ftb, but it all went fine for me in the end. There was a month or so delay on completion but that seems quite standard for any new build developer.
no issues with the mortgage application itself - approved fine.
Only problem arose when it came to light that my chosen solicitor wasn't on the lenders legal panel, and so they wouldn't deal with my solicitor at all. I think this info was passed to the broker but it all got lost in translation unfortunately. Had to change solicitor very late in the game! Got a bit hairy with keepmoat then saying I was taking too long and wanted to withdraw from the sale but my new solicitor just kept hold of the paperwork and we finally got to exchange!
Had no problems from then on.
Had a couple of snags on the flat once built, but all rectified pretty quickly.
Buid quality was pretty good - paid £75k for the flat though so never expected pure luxury.
Ended up selling 2.5 years later with a £40k profit in hand! Best decision I ever made was to buy that flat when I did!
