    Thanks Any, for letting us know, it sunds like a really nice idea. I don't ever buy those desserts, but am thinking that for a fundraiser, I could ask on freecycle.

    jackyann, do you mean if you do a fundraiser, or when you do a fundraiser? If it's the latter I have 11 going spare, if you're interested. I'm in South Essex and will be in the Medway Towns on the 28th Sept, if that helps.

    We have a fantastic local freegle and I think folk will come up trumps. I've no immediate plans, but often do such things around Xmas.

    Pity the poor volunteers who have to do all the washing up after these events. I help out at our local charity fund raising events where dessert baking is done by several volunteers. By the time somebody has had to wash and dry 100 wine glasses by hand at 11 pm in a community venue, possibly with few facilities, they will be cursing your mini ramekins no matter how dainty your desserts look. Far better to make a big sponge cake/s which can be easily cut up and portioned out or do something that can be prepared in individual paper cup cake holders.
