Adult Learning and Job center links?

Hi i need your advice on whether if my wife does not attend a course at adult learning , will they tell the job center she is not attending and for what reason.
She was advised to attend but not mandated by the job center but her attendance would cause us financial hardship because she would not be able to do some occasional house cleaning jobs.
We are currently getting JSA as a couple housing benefits, counsel tax benefit, child tax benefits.
We feel at this time it would be better she didn't attend the course as we would lose benefits.
Any advice would be appreciated.

How would you be losing benefits by attending the course? Surely attending gets you to keep you benefits.
Are you declaring these occasional cleaning jobs? Could be something she could turn into full time self employment.0 -
Hi on the weeks she gets work she can earn about £170 which the Job center would count as more than the weekly entitlement of JSA (which they would stop) and the occasional money would help to cover bills. Our worry is that the Adult Learning center would inform the J/c and we may get sanctioned for refusing to attend a course.0

BUT if she attends she will get benefits so some money of the money lost. Some money is better than being sanctioned and loosing money for a few weeksMortgage free wannabe
