    Do you know exactly how you got into debt, and are you sure it won't happen again? If it was 'just' life and overspending then this needs to be urgently addressed and not just by optimistically thinking you will do better in future. If it was a major one off then the risk of debt drifting up is probably lower, but you also need a savings plan to cope with the next major expense.
