Has anyone ever won with The Sun?

Hey guys.

Got an email yesterday to say that I was the winner of The Sun wordsearch. Sent my details over as requested (they pay via BACS.)

They said I'll receive the money within a month, but I was wondering how long it took you, personally, to receive your prize? I am patient, don't get me wrong, but just want to know if it'll be the sooner or later part of that timescale.

I won £100 with them about a month ago and it came within a couple of weeks. I also got a follow up letter to confirm. Got me all excited I'd won again!

I have won a prize from one of there comps and received it OK.

I won a diamond solitaire necklace allegedly worth £1000 which arrived with no hassle (and later got vanished by the cat and I strongly suspect it went up the vacuum cleaner) and more recently I won £50.00 on one of their email things and I had loads of hassle, long delays and then they paid it into the wrong bank account - I got it in the end...

My £50 win came through really quickly no hassle at all

i've won a DVD (Many years ago, never turned up, didn't care enough to chase it)

I've won a tent (it arrived broken!)

BUT

i've won £50, twice, and the money was paid BACS within 10 days each time.

My £50 came pretty quick!

Yep, twice in the last 12 months. The first £50 turned up as a cheque in the post within a week (even though they asked for my bank details) and I had to chase the second £50 up as they said it would be paid by a specific date, but it wasn't, so I chased up and it was there the next day.

Years ago I won a digital radio from the Sun - it just turned up didn't know that I had won until then.
