DIP Nationwide

Just after some advice - currently have mortgage with Nationwide and have done for 9 years - never missed a payment, excellent credit history - nothing outstanding. Looking to buy new house, so checked affordability on line - came back as £201300. Did a DIP for £175k and was accepted. Unfortunately, the offer on the house we wanted wasnt accepted so had to find a new property. Found a new one which was slightly more expensive so had to change the details. Requested £200k ( still under the affordability and no other details changed). DIP was redone an declined. Is the original DIP still valid? I dont know what to do now - help!!

Maybe it didn't like the new loan to value?
If you've done this direct with Nationwide, unfortunately you are going to have to go to the horse's mouth.I am a mortgage broker. Yes direct with Nationwide - do you know if the original DIP is likely to still be valid or is that it?0

I suspect you no longer have the original as you have effectively over-written it, assuming the application number remains the same.
If you can return the data to what was there before, it may return to accept but we have no way of knowing.
We don't use the same system so it really is necessary for you to take this to Nationwide, rather than any speculative opinions on here.I am a mortgage broker.
