    I was in a card shop this morning and found pretty pink 'Love' mugs at half-price so paid £1.99 each and Thorntons Santa on a stick for 50p each now all I need is the Hot Choccie drink & marshmallows and the girls Christmas mugs will be ready to go (plus the money of course)...

    debjk do you know where I can buy some sellophane wrap I already have the ribbons...

    A lot of florists will sell you cellophane if you ask, but depending on how much you want, eBay can actually be cheaper.

    I liked to get money as a teenager i would get it from my aunts then i could have a day out at the sales and get loads of new clothes it was one the things i looked forward to.

    I got mine on ebay I paid 4.40 for 10 meters inc post it has gold stars on so give it that christmas feel.

  • Speaking from experience cash/vouchers are definately preferable to a token gift that they don't appreciate. I remember getting dodgy presents from my gran/aunt and if anything it is just a waste of money for them - at least with money they can get exactly what they want and combine it with other monetary gifts to get something special.
