Filtering Competitions

i use the links to view the competitions by end date, popularity etc and think they are great but wondered if there was a way to filter out competitions you have ticked or crossed as think it would make it quicker to find competitions i havent seen yet,

I use this link as the 'popularity' link seems to be just 'bumped up
threads the below link shows the new comps not 'bumped'
with the green/red ticked/crossed ..
once you click on the link click on the
'Order by newly posted'
