Volunteer and Job

If a job is offered, can one ask to do volunteering to see if the job fits their disabilities before accepting the job? How can one word it to a company? I’m asking as private companies don’t offer volunteering jobs normally. Thanks

You could ask no harm in it. But beware. If an employer thinks they can Get free labour they could misuse this. Say your no good after the two weeks then get someone else and do the same time and again. I know someone who did 2 months with crime stoppers to get IT experience, they did 10 hours a week. It did benefit them they got a job at my company. Crime stoppers is worth while and they don't take advantage.
