Is The Financial Service Centre legit?

We are currently dealing with the tenant from Hell who owes us a large amount of rent and will not leave the property. We have now been contacted by The Financial Service Centre (based Manchester) who say they are trying to consolidate her debt to prevent bankruptcy..
This woman has pulled so many tricks I am not convinced they are an official organisation
Are they?

How are these organisations financed? This one doesn`t appear to be a charity
He is pressuring us to stop a court case against the tenant as he says we will end up getting nothing if we don`t agree to his proposal0 -
My uneducated guess is that they are flogging IVAs. But an IVA wouldn't really be appropriate for 99.9 % of tenants..If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.0

He says he is helping her with an application for an IVA - apparently she has other debt in addition to what she owes us.
Sorry - I am ignorant about this - how will he benefit from her having an IVA?0 -

One small word FEES
He will make a good chunk of them.If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.0 -
Does it really matter? She is a tenant in arrears and with or without the Financial Service Centre you will probably see little, if any, of the rent owed.
If you haven't served the tenant notice yet issue her with a Section 8. The quicker you can get her out the quicker you can get a paying tenant in the property.0 -
Scroll down to see a description of IVAs

It does say rent arrears can't be included. If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.0 -
If the tennent obtains an IVA, you wont see any money back, as rent arrears are not a qualifying debt.
If they are looking at insolvency I would say it's pointless pursuing this any further.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
