PPI Claim upheld, no money received

Used Resolver tool to reclaim PPI from Shop Direct, they sent me a letter in May saying they upheld the claim and I'd receive a calculation (redress) letter within 28 days.
Nothing received by end of July, so rang every week over the summer asking for an update and was told variations of "It's on its way."
Last week got told I'd receive an additional £100 cheque due to the wait, that they would send it asap. Won't tell the refund amount, only that it's 'significant'.
Where do I stand with this as I've still not received the redress letter, the PPI refund or the additional £100?

  • Contact the Ombudsman. Four months is far too long to wait.

    At least you can take comfort that your redress is still accruing interest while it remains unpaid.

    On the plus side, your interest is going up all the time and the £100 goodwill gesture for the delay certainly goes a long way to make up for the delay.
