in Gone off!
I recently purchased some toilet rolls from a wholesalers marked up as buy one get one free but noticed i payed tax on both items is this correct or is this the wholesalers cashing in as technically they aren't free.

You only paid tax (non food items) on the bought item.
The actual free one was free.0 -
no they took tax for both items. they scan both items the tax due is calculated then the price of one is deducted so we paid tax in both0
