Thanks for posting this. I have a Quidity card, but this card would be useful to have too.
It's free to top up at paypoint til March 08
The fees/charges are here:
http://www.thesunprepaid.co.uk/feescharges.html:T*Thanks to all who posts comps * :j0 -
but wont this hit your credit rating such as much as opening a credit card from quidco where youll get £40 cashback?!!! for £5 it just aint worth it.Save saynoto0870.com in your favorites, and stop giving companies more £££ dialling 0870 numbers when you can dial freephones or cheaper alternatives
call your credit card company, tell them that you want to leave, 99% of the time theyll lower your APR%
Remember when that Bank Manager or Salesperson smiles at you, all he sees is £ notes. Dont forget the motto, "the wider their grin, the more debt your in"0 -
£5 + 2% of remaining balance to cancel.
If don't cancel but just stop using then 99p charge per month.
Have I understood the t & c correctly?0 -
Website says there are no credit checks - why would there need to be?
Its free money - I'm going for it.
EDIT after seeing terms and conditions and posts below - I won't bother!0 -
I tried to apply for one of these Sun cards online using my passport as proof of id but wouldnt have it, i then tried with my drivers licence, again no joy, just a number to phone and a reference no.
Phoned them up and had to verify all the details again. Was put on hold then after 10 mins of waiting was cut off, thanks Andy from india!
Phoned india back again and was told there was no one there called Andy...
Anyway, i verified my details yet again and then one last time as i paid with my debit card, but... and this is now 3 hours after starting the whole process, he says he cant accept payment from this card, theres some security issue with it, ive only had the card 15 years (visa).
So after telling him how useful he'd been i explained that he should insert the card in himself, i even offered to help!
Honestly, good luck to anyone trying to get one of these cards, I ordered a Bread card for my dad no problems what so ever, and the rates are about the same it just costs a tenner for the card rather than £1-50. Sun newspaper, you should be ashamed to afilliate yourself with the Newcastle building society, and the indian call centre. [:(!]Gone bankrupt, kept my £500 car as i need it to look for work. Kept Royal mail pension. Lost AXA £3500. Im happy tho :T Thanks to all that helped with my bankruptcy x British Gas Electric are still threating me with court action over the £5,400 I owe them but that was included in the BR hehe0
