Cold Sore Cream; Alternative to Zivirax

The cold sore cream for lips the none brand is Zovirax Cold Sore cream which for a 2g is sold at Boots for £4.99. However it seems that a 2g tube of Galpharm, Vantage or Virosorb is considerably cheaper. The latter being available at Poundland for £1. Are either of these brands a suitable alternative . Any other suggestions/comments please. We use Cold Sore Cream when we get cracked dry lips on holiday from the sun or wind.

If you're getting cold sores, then a generic equivalent with the same active ingredient would be fine, and galpharm is a reputable generic manufacturer.
If the problem is just dry cracked lips though, then I would query why you need something with an antiviral agent in it instead of just getting a good lip balm/moisturiser.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -

I'd use a lip balm with SPF30 all the time, not just when your lips get cracked.
I use Malibu.
Don't like their suncream but the lip balm suits me.
You can get a pack of 3 different flavours in B&M very cheap.0 -

Apart from there being no active therapeutic agent in it!How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0
