They tell you to log on to https://www.Santanderconsumer.co.uk on the back of the letter - you put in your agreement number and the rest of what transpires is detailed above... My amount was quite inaccurate by payment date (having made two payments) so they generated the new figure.
The acct is closed now so I couldnt re check to see if there is any navigation option to avoid this. I was 'on it' already in case this happened so would have sussed it out if there was 'generate a new settlement figure' or 'I already have a settlement figure' option... There were no such options. It simply told me how much top pay on that day (showing no detail or calculations that i also found a bit frustrating).
The question remains - are they doing this to everyone?
