Good luck, hope it works for you like it worked for me.
Different practices have different ways of doing things. Although urgent, my appt was an 'ordinary' one with a GP I've never seen before and her specialism is dermatology! She took the doc longer to find all the bits and pieces and record treatment on the computer than it did for her to diagnose and shoot me up!
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)
  • I had this a year ago. I went to a chiropracter. After just 6 visits it was hugely better. She manipulated it and gave me exercises to do and talked about my posture and what I was doing during the day.

Maybe I was lucky to catch it early, but I'd use chiropractors again.
  • I have sent away for a DVD and a book from here:

and anyone interested can ask me in a few weeks if it works!
  • If you're not happy about injections (like me) and are looking at alternatives please consider Bowen Technique (or NST which is similar) which can be effective in a fairly short period of time (so if it works wont' cost you a lot)

From personal experience, Bowen was a real life saver for me, so much so that I'm now training to be a therapist after bein made redundant.
