"Q: Are you comfortable with the market forecasts for two more rate hikes during the next three years?

Carney says that on a ‘broad-brush’ basis, it gets the Bank roughly where it wants to be on inflation and growth. That’s a yes, then."

Not exactly looking at aggressive rises then (1% by late 2020) if the economy behaves in the way the BoE expects
  • Meanwhile, over at my eTrade account:

    Day's Change

how are you making 2,28% on currency moves when gbp is down 1% vs usd? are you levered?
  • I'm long dollar-denominated stocks. Whenever the pound tanks I make money. Some of the gain today is US$ stock price movement but the day's gain has been doubled by the cable change.

Brexit made me about £50k over about four months without my doing anything.

You've just told everyone your etrade account is worth £303,562.28 and your BTL mortgage is £288,325 - why be coy about what $ denominated holdings you have.

Sterling has only fallen back to the levels of last Friday by the way.

be careful about reading too much into people boasting especially on the internet and, even more, especially when the person is very arrogant.
