best value (ink wise) printer / scanner- for large photos

Have about 20 pics I want to print large - A4, maybe even A3...

Epson EcoTank printers are excellent for lots of printing and Ink will last you 2 years. If you buy this model from John Lewis it has a £100 cashback offer making it only £169. a set of inks is about the same price as a set of standard cartridges considering ink cartridges only have between 3-5 mls of ink and these come with 70mls the slight expense of upfront costs would be justified as same price as a decent printer and 1 set of inks.
