It appears that TP+ have taken heed of our complaints about late billing. I received my bill this morning and it was dated the 13th June and not the 17th of the month as previously. So why all that fuss? I suggested changing the billing date ages ago but they said it was impossible. Nothing's impossible now , it seems!

Its just a pity the TPlus Reps have been advised not to enter into any more chat other wise they may had responded to your posting ;)

because of this however, I haven't yet received my e bill, maybe they won't be sending them now that they are posting bills earlier!

COS - who said they shouldn't enter in here - do you know - hadn't heard that - is there a thread or is it from TP on high?

    @MSE Martin
You will find that Alan Howes tells his reps in the Re:Telecomplus poorer and poorer thread on June 4th.
I hope they all enjoy Telford.
PS reps who posted here should hide from alan behind the bouncy castle.
  • Alan Howes is a Senior Executive Independent Distributor for Telecom Plus - just like myself. In the ranks of Telecom Plus distributorships we are both two rungs from the bottom of the ladder and cannot instruct any one to do anything since we are not employed by Telecom Plus
As far as I am aware Telecom Plus have not given instructions to distributors to stop posting on this site.

My bill is also dated 13th and arrived on 21st, so it looks like an improvement has been made.

I also received my ebill so it looks like you've been missed off this month Hansi.

I don't have the date (as I deleted the mail when the paper bill arrived) but it was around about the 14th/15th.

I'm glad that they have listened and have made an improvement.

I think the quote from Alan is the one below.
I don't think what Alan said can be construed as an instruction - however I don't think that COS was being entirely serious either.
Do you not realise that someone somewhere is pulling your chain... they've got a ring through your nose and are you're being pulling along by it. Further contributions to the TP debate are only grist to thier mill... give it up and be happy with what you know

Martin it was just an observation based on the posting of Mr Howes and also the lack of answers to my questions put to TPlus. I had hoped MarkE would had responded privatley as he was my Agent but he is probably to busy . TPlus hav'nt responded to my emails and phoning them was a waste of time as I was hanging on for over ten minutes.

I would like to know why.

TP wrote me to advise British Gas would'nt release me from the Gas contract I have with them when I hav'nt been with BG for over a year. Why is TPlus sending me bills and taking the payments from my Credit Card with out having authorisation.

I would like to know why on two occasions, one being last week, TPlus  treatened to stop my phone. I don't have a phone account with them.

Evidence of the above are in letters sent to me from TPlus so they can't dispute it.

Yesterday I have received another Gas Bill why? >:(

    A thought.

Alan Howes led us to believe he was TPlus's senior exec. We are now told he is second rung from the bottom of the ladder, the mind boggles ???

    It's just a title.
Looks to me like they give themselves fancy titles.

    No much wrong with that.
I think you have read something into it that isn't there.

    The title is
    "Senior Executive Independent Distributor"
    which quite clearly states independent.
